Streams Where the State Proposes to Retain Whole Body Contact Recreation Use

Sewage treatment plants would have to disinfect wastewater discharged to these streams. However, the state has not yet made a final determination and could still decide to remove important protections against bacteria from any of the streams listed below.

If you have used any of these streams for recreation -- or know of other people who have used them -- please let the state know by sending in this Recreational Use Comment Form (Word document). Any recreational use since 1975 would require that the state protect that use by requiring disinfection of sewage wastewater. So your information about recreational use could ensure that the streams are protected -- now and in the future.
