Join us and special guests at the Schlafly Tap Room. We will share a stimulating conversation about the power of clean energy to fuel our future, celebrate our victorious volunteers, and conduct board elections.
Featured speaker: Nancy Jackson, Executive Director, Climate & Energy Project The Climate & Energy Project (CEP) is a program of The Land Institute, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded over 30 years ago in Salina, Kansas. CEP’s key program areas include the Blue Green Alliance, Interfaith Power & Light, and the Take Charge Challenge, a friendly competition among six Kansas communities to reduce their energy use. Jackson serves on the Midwestern Greenhouse Gas Accord Advisory Group, the Kansas Energy and Environmental Policy Advisory Group, and the Kansas Wind Working Group. She holds an MA in environmental history from the University of Kansas, worked in scholarly publishing for a decade, and brings experience in corporate finance, equities research, and development.
