Why Become a Member of the Coalition?

We have been protecting and restoring the environment through education, public engagement, and legal action for more than 40 years.  It is the mission of the Missouri Coalition for the Environment to help you engage in the policies that affect your food, water, air and land as well as ensure Missouri is on the forefront when it comes to renewable energy and energy efficiency.  The Coalition continually takes on new and emerging issues that affect you and your family such as environmental permitting, waste, pollution and water quality which makes us one of the oldest, most trusted sources for environmental justice in the state of Missouri.

Our Membership Benefits allows concerned citizens and families to:

Membership Categories and Fees

Upon becoming a member, you will receive a FREE t-shirt or water bottle that you can bring to events.  You can purchase additional t-shirts or water bottles for $20 here.

Currently, we have two types of memberships:

General Membership: $40 Annual Fee
Student Member: $20 Annual Fee

Membership Renewal

All memberships begin upon the receipt of payment and expire within twelve months. Once your membership expires, we will send you a Membership Renewal letter in the mail reminding you to renew your membership. You no longer have to wait for your renewal statement to arrive in the mail. The convenience of renewing your membership online is here.

Annual  Appeals

The Missouri Coalition for the Environment does two appeals per calendar year; one at year-end and one in the Spring. Annual giving is an important competent of our organization’s development as it allows for unrestricted money and operating expenses as well as building relationships with new and existing donors. The Coalition advocates for a wide variety of issues, many that are new and emerging. Our annual appeals allows us to invest in new projects and continue tackling issues that protect the rights of all Missourians.

Special Appeals

The Missouri Coalition for the Environment may also do a Special Appeal through out the year.  Generally these appeals are on pressing environmental issues that need immediate funding so that we can have the power to act and respond on our stakeholders’ behalf.
