MCE Motivates Hundreds to Comment on Stream Exemptions:
MCE conducted a massive campaign to inform citizens of the Department of Natural Resources’ plan to exempt 170 Missouri Streams from strict water quality standards. If exempted, these streams would not be safe for swimming. Hundreds of additional Public Comments resulted from the campaign.
